Glastonbury Festival time at the Pop-Up Hotel, and as is now a yearly tradition (well, nearly yearly as every 5 years the festival takes a break) it’s time to capture the spirit and vibes at their flagship hotel. This year, however, the brief was a little different as the good folks at the Pop-Up Hotel wanted to engage with their Instagram following, to show those not fortunate enough to get tickets just what all the fuss is about.
Using the framing, colour palette and composition techniques that has become the visual language of Instagram was great fun, allowing for a spontaneous, fun and creative approach to commercial event photography which can sometimes be lacking from such assignments. Basically, we got to muck about and meet some interesting people (like Millie Mackintosh and her partner Hugo Taylor)! It was all very Insta!
