Construction Safety Campaign Portrait Photography

I was asked to photograph members of the Hinkley Point C workforce for their safety campaign for Zero Harm Week. The mood of the campaign was sombre and serious, reflecting the loss and harm industrial accidents can have on the workforce, and the impact it can have on those close to them.

With this as the brief, I set up a studio on location at Hinkley Point C to capture the workforce, using stark lighting to throw focus on the subject in otherwise dark surroundings.

The final campaign was extremely successful, winning numerous industry awards and acclaim.
