Wells Town Hall Wedding Photography
Trav & Gemma get Married at Wells Town Hall
I always look forward to some Wells Town Hall wedding photography as its always varied, from the intimacy of the Mayors Parlour, the tradition of the Parkes Room or the grandeur of the Main Hall you always get variety regardless of the wedding. For Trav & Gemma’s Wells Town Hall wedding photography we were in the grand splendour of the Main Hall.
But the day started at The Manor House Inn in Ditcheat, a fine venue in own right, for Gemma’s Bridal Preparation photography. In all the years I’ve been photographing weddings, Gemma’s bridal preparation was without doubt the most chilled out. More of a pre-wedding brunch, everyone just had a good time and hung out before getting their dresses on!
The Main Hall at Wells Town Hall is absolutely one of my favourite rooms to photograph a wedding ceremony it. Its high tall windows and high ceiling allow for so much natural light to flood the room, which really compliments the scale of the space, and always gives the photos a clean and natural look.
Being October, Trav & Gemma’s wedding gave me the perfect opportunity for some Autumn wedding photography which I wasn’t going to waste. With the ground covered in richly coloured leaves I wanted to capture the natural beauty of that time of year, which meant getting down in amongst it! The couple photography was captured in the public spaces around Wells Town Hall, with me positioning myself low down to capture the colour and texture of the season but maintaining the natural shooting style I adopt for all my weddings, making for some great Autumn and Wells Town Hall wedding photography.
