The Gathering Barn Wedding Photography

Winter wedding photography always presents opportunities which are not always present at other times of the year. Whilst it might get dark early, you get the most perfect light in the late afternoon, the so-called golden hour, where the sun in low enough is the sky as to not cause harsh shadows, but still high enough to see! For Will & Vicci’s Gathering Barn wedding photography I intended to make full use of not only this, but the glorious views and stunning woods that this great Warminster wedding venue has to offer.

Following the ceremony, I headed out in to the grounds with the newlyweds for a short walk into the woods (having checked that the ground was ‘wedding-dress-safe’ beforehand!). Being a winter wedding, the bare trees made for a very atmospheric setting, with Will & Vicci’s natural ease with each other giving the images warmth and focus as well as making for some stunning Winter and Gathering Barn wedding photography.
