Quantock Lakes Wedding Photography

There are many ways to getting wedding photography bookings; Sometimes it’s recommendations from previous bride and grooms your photographed. Sometimes it’s through exhibiting at wedding fairs. And sometimes it’s through your barber! As is the case with how I met Nick, thanks to some fortuitous circumstances and knowing lovely people.

Aside from sharing barbers, Nick and Steph’s wedding was a blast to photograph. From tug-o-wars, to novelty cheffing, to Southampton FC placenames, it had it all. And come the evening, when the light was perfect but the air still warm, it was time to go for a stroll around the magnificent grounds and lake that are the centrepiece of Quantock Lakes.

Wanting to use the long grass and bullrushes to enhance the intimacy, I framed Nick and Steph’s couple portraits around and through these beautiful, natural features to reflect the nature of their relationship, but also showing off the scale of the lakes and meadows, creating beautiful, contemporary Quantock Lakes wedding photography.
