“The best laid plans of mice and men…” and so the saying goes. In December 2024 Storm Darragh put that very saying in to practice as not only did the strong winds cut the power throughout the morning but also made large parts of Bishopstrow Hotel & House inaccessible. But with a ‘can-do’ attitude, a little improvisation and exceptionally helpful and accommodating staff, a mere storm wasn’t going to stop us from getting some stunning, creative Bishopstrow Hotel & House wedding photography.

So with going outside not an option, I made use of the beautiful grand staircase and the ornate mirrors that surrounded it. Using reflections, light and every possible inch creatively, we got some truly original Bishopstrow Hotel & House wedding photography.
